Siri Klug successfully graduated in cinematography from the “German Film and Television Academy Berlin” (DFFB), receiving the degree of Director of Photography (DOP).

She worked with renowned cinematographers such as Slawomir Idziak, Michael Ballhaus (“Gangs of New York”), Hans Fromm (“Wolfsburg”) and operated the second camera on film projects by Reinhold Vorschneider (“Orly”).

In addition to numerous national and international film projects, Siri Klug participated in the Berlinale-Talent-Campus and was invited, along with other European filmmakers, to a Master Class held by Christian Berger (“The White Ribbon”). Since 2010, she has been teaching camera and lighting, visual composition and storytelling at universities in Germany and Austria.

As a visual storyteller and filmmaker, she worked on and supervised projects in often remote environments — including the rainforests of the Central African Republic (Congo Basin), the deserts of China, and the forests of Siberia. She has created documentary feature films shot in French Guiana (Guiana Space Centre), Mexico, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Vietnam, Hong Kong, France, the United Kingdom, Russia, and numerous states across the USA.
